How it works

Three steps. Six guesses. One answer.

Here it is with video games, the first category in the beta.

  1. Searching for a game: typing shows matching titles, with the release year to tell same-named games apart.

    1 Name a game

    Start typing and pick from the list. Games with the same name are told apart by year.

  2. Clue cards for a guess: release year with an arrow, genre, developer, platforms, perspective and multiplayer.

    2 Read the clues

    Each guess shows six clue cards. Green is a match, gold shares something, and arrows point to the right release year.

  3. The round's result: the answer revealed with its details, your streak, and buttons to share or play again.

    3 Prove it

    Solve it within six guesses to keep your streak alive, then share your result without spoiling the answer.

Every clue uses a symbol and a word as well as a colour, so you never need to tell colours apart to play.
